Cómo funciona X en una máquina moderna

O más bien un recordatorio sobre machdep.allowaperture es lo que ha enviado Theo de Raadt a misc@. Muy interesante su lectura.

Some of our architectures use a tricky and horrid thing to allow X to run. This is due to modern PC video card architecture containing a large quantity of PURE EVIL. Seguro que alguna vez hemos leído algo sobre machdep.allowaperture, y si no quedaba claro para qué necesitaba usarse cuando trabajamos con X en OpenBSD, ahora debería estarlo :).
